New in the Hahnemühle watercolour range: Leonardo and Cézanne as hot pressed paper qualities with extremely smooth surfaces. 
With their hot pressed surfaces, the mould-made papers Cézanne in 300gsm and Leonardo in 600gsm represent the ideal addition to the current range of matt and rough watercolour artist papers.
Both paper qualities are produced on cylinder-mould paper machines and are true cotton papers solely made of rags. They are soft but due to their grammage, they are also solid and robust. Thanks to their high grammage – the glued and gauzed blocks are available in the formats 24x32cm, 30x40cm and 36×48 cm – you can achieve a good flatness when being used for wet-on-wet techniques. In addition, these qualities also are available in the sheet format 56x76cm with two-deckled and two trimmed edges. The sized surface is well suited for colour corrections and erasing it is also particularly well suited for the techniques watercolour, gouache, acrylic, ink and Indian ink as well as tempera. Due to the hot pressed surface, the paper’s structure discreetly takes a back seat and inspires artists and hobbyists who love to work on a very fine and detail-rich level. Cézanne and Leonardo hot pressed, are non-ageing and archivable papers according to ISO 9706 as well as acid and chlorine free without optical brighteners.
